The Ventnor and District Local History Society of which the Museum is an integral part, is an active and well known local society founded in 1980

with around 130 members and thirty life members

Managed by a nine member Executive Committee the aims of the Society are to generate interest in the History of

Ventnor and the Surrounding Areas

and to preserve its heritage

Monthly Meetings

are held at St. Catherine's Church on the last Friday of each month (except August & December) at 7.30 pm

Lectures, Film Shows, Visits, Social and other events are regularly arranged

is just £7.50 per annum
