The Natural History of the Isle of Wight, Past, Present and Future is the second in our series of winter talks presented in collaboration with Ventnor Arts Club. On Monday 17 February, natural historian Andy Butler takes a look at how the wildlife of the Isle of Wight has developed from the age of the dinosaurs in prehistoric times through to the effect of the first modern humans 10,000 years ago and then on to the present day. He also looks at how our birds, butterflies and animals may possibly cope with the rapidly changing conditions in the future.
The talk is at the Ventnor Arts Club, and starts at 7.30 pm; doors and bar open from 6.30 pm. The talks are free but places are limited, so please email or call to reserve your seat:
