26th April 2019 Ventnor Breweries
The Society’s next meeting will feature a talk by Richard Downing, who will relate the history of Ventnor’s breweries, in particular Burt’s Brewery, which was established in 1840.
Please note that this replaces the previously advertised talk by Brian Greening on Island life 100 years ago. This has now been rescheduled to 27th September.
The meeting will, as usual, be held at the Masonic Hall in Grove Road, Ventnor, and starts at 7.30 pm.
Entry is free to members, while visitors are very welcome; the entry fee is £2.00
