Cafe Suisse, Ventnor

Wally Zuber: Part 1 Cafe Suisse is born. Walter Zuber established the Cafe Suisse in 1925 at the bottom of Spring Hill at the junction with Ventnor High Street. During WW2 he acted as ARP in Spring Hill and bought 54 acres in St Lawrence for volunteers to grow vegetables. By Colin Beavis.
