From Grand Pavilion to Gaiety 1: films, dances and roller skating. A photo shows the Grand Pavilion on Ventnor Esplande in the 1890s.  Later names included Ventnor Hippodrome,  Summer Theatre, Ventnor Casino and The Gaiety. During WW2 it was used to assemble aircraft parts. By Lesley Telford.
